8 Months Old!
Karis is 8 months old! I can't believe it. She is 2/3 to a year. I am starting to reminisce about the newborn moments with her and am kind of sad I will never experience those with her again! She is starting to look a lot less like a baby and more like a toddler! She is now about 18.5 pounds.
She is still not crawling, but is oh so close! From a sit she rocks forward to her hands and knees but isn't sure where to go from there. She is also pulling herself to a stand. Even though she does not crawl she sure is good at moving herself to get to something she wants!
Right about when she turned 8 months her first TWO teeth (front, bottom) broke through the surface! They are still barely through the gums but they are getting there.
Karis does not like solid foods! She shudders every time she eats something and does her best to gag until it works its way to the front of her mouth so she can spit it out. She loves drinking water from a cup and sometimes will drink my smoothies too, making me think her not liking food is just a texture thing. She'll get there eventually! For now she just prefers mama's milk :)

Thanksgiving
I've been a blog slacker lately! And I still don't have much time, so this is basically just a bunch of pictures from Karis's first Thanksgiving!
Playing at Nana's house. She was too funny...she would push the toy forward, then scoot toward it, push the toy forward, and so on...and ended up scooting all over the living room doing that!
